Well since Saleen has canned all the fox stuff.. I was wondering if anyone knows where I can get the Air cleaner decal from the early carb'd cars?? Or do you know of a decal place that can reproduce it??

Hey Alex,
Those decals for your 1985 air cleaner are available from performancepartsinc.com. They also have a limited supply of the chrome air cleaner lids. I have bought several items from them and have been very happy with their service. You are right that the early fox parts are very hard to find currently.

Not to hijack your thread, but how about the 85-86 Saleen spoilers?? I love the looks of them, and would like to find a repro of it for my 84 LX. Thanks.

85 or 86? The 85 is very similar to that of a 79 Pace car and is nearly impossible to find (unless you look for the pace car style factory Ford piece). The 86 style pops up from time to time on eBay.

The 1979 Indy Pacer ford wing (3-piece style used from '79 to early '84) is not similar to the '84 early '85 Saleen wing.

Not long ago there was a later '85-'86 wing on ebay... you could also place a want ad in the Classifieds.

But the 1979-1982 Mustang/1979-1986 Capri part is not a bolt-on for the standard Mustang 1979-82 bumper cover or the 1983-1984 or the 1985-1986.

I believe Xenon body kits made a square air **** for 1979-1986 Mustangs, but I forget.
