WHATS THE PROCESS ON ADDING PIXS

Right now you either have ftp photos to a server (ISP space for example) or use a picture hosting site.

Then copy the photo address and paste it in the new message window encapsulated with the "Img" tags.

Now to go sideways...

We have figured this is a problem source... So, when we started to build a new site this past November a decision was made to also invest in new forum software that will allow people to upload photos & documents making the whole process less so.

Basically... Wait a few weeks... We've been working weeky and in some cases daily on the new material with the goal of launching everything this spring season.

Nothing in the Saleen vehicle community compares to what we have planned... So stick around.

p.s. You'll know when we do the changeover.

I just decided it was time to get her back to looking more original. I was tired of the SC stripes and just felt it was time for her to look like she did when she was built. :-) I'm happy I did. I think the 3 piece STERNS stand out more with the original stripes. Originally she was optioned with grey stripes and grey wheels. I never was a big fan of the basket weaves but I absolutely love the STERNS so I think the combination of the original stripes and wheels looks perfect and of course the wheels are still grey!! :-)

I to removed my stripes for awhile, in facy I did alot of things to the car to customize it. In the last couple of years I have been trying to put things back to original,

Exactly my idea as well. I'm just trying to get her back to original looking on the outside and interior. The engine however will not go back to stock. I am too spoiled over the S-trim.

I could only dream of a turbo but the cost is just too much to change over now. I'll just stick with what I have and the next step will be a 331 stroker on a Dart or equivalent block. I'm looking for 600+rwhp without having to use the NOS. With the bottle she has hit 601rwhp but going lean so I need either more fuel or more cubes. Hence the idea for the stroker.

I wont be removing my supercharger either, Though I only have an A trim
the rest of my engine Im trying to go for the stock look. I painted my aluminum Radiator Black and covered up the vortech chrome radiator hose by cutting up 2 stock hoses. Im trying to figure out a way to put the stock strut tower brace back on with the supercharger.

Once you have a power adder, you cant go back.

I've put blowers on my 87 saleen and a friends 89 SSC and we both had to use the later model strut tower braces. I believe the one that is sold through Mustang Unlimited is the same one and fits fine.

I was hopping to use the stock one so I wouldnt have to drill any new holes.

I figured maybe a flexible hose or fabricating an aluminum one so I could still use the bypass.

You need to have a host for the picture like cardomain.com or shutterbug or some site that you can upload pictures to. then you just need to use the "img" tag... example.... http://www.your website host/picture.jpg without the spaces between the tag and the host location.

As foxbodysaleen197 said you have to find a host for the photos. Sorry about that... the new webboard was pushed back when we decided to redo the SOEC newsletter. Only so much time.

sln583 - Thanks, but it seems to be a dream for me too lately. I haven't driven them in 2 years. Working in Europe and keeping the cars in the states makes it difficult. Hopefully we will correct this at the end of August -VACATION! :D

By the way, I see you're from Mass. How far from CT are you? I use to live in Windsor, CT up until 10 years ago.

Finally I figured it out (How to post pics) !!!!!!!!!

#89-0667 is alive and doing well with 36K as of 10-2-06.
I know the first Owner added the SC stripes but I do have the "original" decals never installed as well as hood and spark plug wires.

Hello! I Just registered today, here are some pics of my 88-334. Lots of stuff going on currently. Since the previous owner(s) were not that attentive to her, I don't feel so bad modifying some areas. Here is the run down....

Original interior missing except door panels. Car now has MOMO wheel, Corbeau LG1 seats with roll bar and rear seat delete.

Rear end was replaced with the IRS from my 99 Cobra. WOW, what a difference that made. The front brakes will be swapped out to my 13" Cobra setup soon. Cobra spare tire has replaced the stock Saleen 5 lug spare. Original mesh wheels were in rough shape and sold. I currently have Bullitts, 98 Cobras and 99 Cobra rims that rotate use.

Never could stand the location of the radio in fox bodies, so I got the HVAC relocation panel. Filled the extra holes with Autometer gauges.

Engine is stock except for a B303 cam and longtube headers. I had an offroad BBK h-pipe custom sized to tie in the Magnaflow IRS catbacks.

I bought No 334 about a year ago. It was in good shape as Fox bodies go, but was missing some of the genuine Saleen parts (seats, strut tower brace, etc). After finding it very costly to restore it as original, I decided to have some fun instead. I kept alot parts from my 1999 SVT Cobra, and put the front brakes and complete IRS & exhaust into the car. I LOVE IT! I even won third place in my category at last years World Ford Challenge X! Here are some pics taken by a friend and fellow Mustang owner Chrissy Moyer...

I think I briefly saw your Saleen at Carlisle last year… but I was busy and didn’t spend much time at the show. Does you car have a cut Saleen/Vortech intake?

Yup, I have a ported/polished SA10 intake. Not the cleanest welding job, but the price was too good to pass up. I didn't have an engine bay pic on photobucket, but I will find one soon. The car has the stock MAF, Accufab TB, B-cam, longtubes, MSD cap & coil, and LOTS of suspension mods. My buddy wants me to put a Vortech on, but I may just install a NO2 kit for the time being. Personal best to date is 14.18 @ 100.01 MPH in the quarter. That's me (novice) trying to launch an IRS Fox body (crappy 60 foot), so I know I can get in the 13's on motor with some more practice.

I love the HVAC relocation panel. Nothing worse than having to shift gears just to change a CD!

This is my 86-068. Original owner with 10,000 miles, original paint and interior. It was special ordered as a stripped down Mustang from Ford and drop shipped to Saleen for the Saleen conversion. Car was bought to compete in SCCA Solo II. Car has a National 1st place win, numerous NorthEastern Divisional, Central Divisional,numerous Regional, numerous State Chamionship, and more wins in the E Street Prepared class. These are some of the pictures I have of it thru the years it has competed so far.

I might be mistaken, but I think I can recall seeing your '86 on display during the 1994 Mustang preview event in North Park during the fall of 1993. I believe there were two Bright Red 1986 Saleen Mustang hatchbacks in attendance. One race car and one street car with a broken air ****. (I think).

Great vehicle and glad to see an original owner of one of these early works of art!

Yes. It was the race car there. I had run a race that morning and then trailered it there. I had forgot about that.

Welcome to the site. That is one awesome 86!!!! What kind of wheels do you have on the car?

The wheels in the picture from the back of the car are basketweave Epsilon 3 pc modular wheels 16x8's. That was an earlier picture.
The wheels in the other pics are a one pc Revolution in 16x9 inch with 275-45-16 Hooser A6 DOT racing tires. That is what is on the car now.
When I had ordered the car I was in touch with Saleen and ordered a second set of original wheels to run on the car for racing. When the car was built they had ran out of the Rikens and the car came with Enkie's on it. The second set I had ordered where the Riken's. All two sets of the original wheels are stored away. And the 4 Enkie's still have the original General tires mounted with very litte wear on them.

No. He was a good friend of my dads (Ralph Barnard). They grew up together. My dad was the first owner of the car. He had three cars, the 89 Saleen, a 91 Saleen , and a 68 Mustang. When my dad passed I battled with his wicked wife for almost ten years trying to get those cars. I picked up the 91 Saleen last week from him. It has 7k miles on it. It is in real bad shape. It's a shame someone let a car like that just rot. Got a father/son project now!! I'm happy that the car is being taken care of. Nice collection you have.Could you give me the car #? I never new what # it was. I've got 91-014. If you ever sell it let me know. Good talking with you.

Spoke to Jacky today actually. I remember the car you just got, Great project indeed. Cant wait to see her when done.

I battled with that wicked ***** also. She has the original paperwork for my car and won't part with it. She is crazy!!!

If I ever sell,I will let you know. Do the same for me on yours please.
