Hi everyone! Since this is a Saleen site, I'll tell you about my Saleen. It's an original owner '89 #142, white/gold. It's pretty close to stock, with only a few upgrades...maximum motorsports strut tower brace, camber/caster plates, sub-frame connectors, Baer sport front brakes. It's an absolutely beautiful car. It was my late husband's, and I really don't drive it very often, but I should!! But I have my own "toy" to play with, a '93 Mazda RX-7 twin-turbo. Both cars are very cool, and rare, in their own ways :)
You guys sure have some nice cars on here too! If I can figure out how to post pics, I'll do it!

Hi! Welcome to the site, sounds like a great Mustang.
To post pictures you have to load the photos to a server of you choice (like the web space your internet company provides or the use of a community photo hosting site).
Once loaded, copy the link from the address bar in your browser window, then paste the address into a forum messge box surrounded by "Img" tags.
You can do this or wait a few weeks when we launch our new forum that will allow members to directly post photos in the messages and to manage their own on line photo album.

Thanks for all the friendly welcomes! Looks like everyone is pretty much scattered around the country! I haven't seen any other fox body Saleens down here in Houston...how about you guys in other areas?

Our local group has 3 86 Saleens and 1 85 Saleen. I have a neigbor who has 2 aero Saleens (one is an 87 I believe and the other is a 91 or 92) so I see a few over the summer. We're trying to coordinate getting them all together for a fox body photo shoot.

Wow, that sounds awesome...good luck with the photo shoot! I'm going to meet a local guy Thursday that has an '05 Saleen, that he recently installed a supercharger on. I'll try to get some pics of ours together...that should be interesting to see...with 16 yrs age difference! But that's o.k., mine still turns heads too :lol:

There's only 2 or 3 around Wichita, KS that I know of. One is mine, another is a friends '89, and then one other one that I know of. Pretty rare.

Im from Texas, DFW to be exact. I own an 89' Saleen Hatch. And youre right, Saleen mustangs are very very rare here. I swear I think im the only on with a TRUE Saleen in my area. Havent seen any at all. Maybe we can get all together sometime for a meet or something. take care SaleenGirl

Welcome! I haven't seen a Saleen Fox in my area in probably 15 years (besides mine). I'm going to bring it to the Mustangs Unlimited Car Show in April to see how many other Saleen Foxes show up. I'm debating whether to put it in the show, b/c it does have imperfections...but original.

Welcome! I'm in the DFW area and we never have any fox body Saleen's at the shows I attend. For that matter we don't have many Saleen's in the shows at all. We have to work on that!

Welcome to the site! I'm temporarily living down here in Oklahoma City with my '98 XP8. I drove down to northern TX last month (Paris to be exact) and saw two S197 Saleen's on the way. I assumed Saleen's were the norm down there!
Side note: SaleenGirl sold her white '89 to dgregoire some time ago. Then dgregoire sold it along with his red 1990 after a brief stint in the north eastern US.
Anyway, carry on. Go Texas!
