Changes at Saleen??

Has anyone heard anything for certain about all that is going on in Irvine and Troy? One story was saying it had alot to do with the S331 another story said about Saleen being owned by an "Investment group"......OMG, I worked for 2 of those type of groups over the last 10 yrs......they are so "Bottom Line" driven its freightening. They will "Trim the Fat" till there is no muscle left on the body at wich point..............well they usually fall down. I really hope that is not the case here.

Oh man.


You must be new to the "Saleen" world. This happens every few years or so. I think Steve himself owns something like less than 10% of the company which explains a lot these days. We have been hearing about doomsday for a long time. You should have been around in 1992 when they sold only 17 cars.

Don't worry, it will probably pass again like it does. If they get too strapped someone else will come in as an angel investor and let Saleen burn through that money too! Then the proces starts all over again.

Always a bummer to hear though.
