Ok, since our cars are numbered and somewhat rare, what's the general consensus on modifications? My car has Vortech supercharger but other than that it's stock.
I'm thinking about doing a PI head swap with some cams and maybe some tubular control arms.
I do want to keep as original as possible.... where do I/have you guys, drawn the line?

Go for it, just keep the orig parts.

For the 1996-1998 Saleens (or even for the GTs they're based on), I would do the PI improvement/ update. The first generation modular Mustang GTs were too conservative from Ford.
Keep the original parts like Greg said. Use good taste :D .
If your into the details, use period speed equipment from the old Saleen parts catalogs when possible.
