We're already planning special time with Steve during this weekend, so please join us at this special anniversary celebration!

We've added a poll to start making a list of those who need their cars signed by Steve -- please be sure you PM us with the following info so that we can find you (or at least your car) while at the event: Your Name, Year, Production Number, Model, Body Style, Color, License Plate (State and #), Mobile Phone (so that we can reach you at the event), Where you want it signed, Are you a member?

With the help of Jim D., we've already started a list... no guarantees, of course, but it worked out really well at Fabulous Fords Forever at Knott's as we probably got 25 cars signed that weekend.

I was close to getting my glove box signed by Steve last year. I coordinated with Saleen to mail my glove box out from the east coast. I was getting ready to mail the package out when I found out he left the company. Needless to say....I was bummed.

I am definitely a die hard Saleen fan. I have been dreaming of Saleens since before I started school: now 3 years out of school I own one, but I was very bummed when I found out Steve retired. I just "knew" I wouldn't never be able to meet him let alone have him sign the car I surprisingly got a couple months before he makes another appearance. I was half tempted to try to convince the company to get hold of Steve and see what it would take to meet him.

Needless to say I am overly excited to have this opportunity and really hope to get it signed.

Directions: I-295, exit # 32, go East on 561 for 2 miles, turn right on White Horse Rd. Go 1/2 mile to the (Olive Garden) turn left, and look for the hotel.

Saleens pre-registered with the SOEC will have reserved parking. Only pre-registered members may park in these spaces. Participants that did not pre-register will be required to park in non-reserved areas. The club will also have 20’X 20’ reserved space for our EZ-Up tent where you can gather and meet with club members. You will receive in the mail prior to the event, easy to follow instructions on what to do when you arrive.

Saleens pre-registered with the SOEC will receive a discounted entry fee. Fees listed reflect a $5 club discount. Club discounted entry fees for the NMRA Auto Show for participant car and 1 driver are $20 for 1-day and $30 for 2-Day. Spectator admission is $15 for 1-day and $30 for 2-day; kids twelve and under are free.

The event will have car show awards with separate classes for Saleen coupes and convertibles, and all participants will receive a giant goody bag and participant dash plaque. The NMRA Ford Nationals is the largest all-Ford motorsport show in the U.S. Each NMRA event features an awesome Auto Show & Shine, the best in Ford drag racing, a giant manufacturer’s midway/swap meet and more! All NMRA events are featured on the Outdoor Channel’s Inside Drag Racing and are covered by Mustang & Fords, Mustang Monthly, 5.0 Mustang and Muscle Mustangs. Mustang & Fords and Mustang Monthly are the presenting sponsors of the NMRA Auto Show & Shine and will be present at every NMRA event to cover the Auto Show for their editorial.

This event will feature a special Muscle Mustangs & Fast Fords 20th Anniversary Celebration on Saturday, August 9th. Steve Saleen will participate in this NMRA event with special autograph/photo sessions. He will present Saturday and Sunday's car show awards, and also he will be present at the Muscle Mustangs 20th Anniversary Party that is hosted by Nitto Tire. The party, which will be held on Saturday, August 9th, will take place from 5:00 P.M. to 7:30 P.M., and is open to everyone.

If you would like to drag race your Saleen, consider NMRA’s True Street class presented by Muscle Mustangs & Fast Fords. True Street, which is contested on Saturday, is open to all licensed and insured street vehicles. NO NMRA MEMBERSHIP REQUIRED. Head off on a 30-mile police-escorted cruise with Steve Saleen and the editors of Muscle Mustangs, and then make 3 back-to-back passes down the ¼ mile with awards for the overall fastest and the racers with the closest averages to 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 and 15 seconds. For ’05 and later Saleen owners, JDM Super Stang offers a great class that showcases the best in modern muscle. Entry fees for the class for Thurs.-Sun. $125, Fri.-Sun. $105, and Sat.-Sun $85. Once the competitor pays his entry fee at the gate they need to go to the NMRA registration trailer and get a tech card for the class then fill out the card completely and bring the card and return to the True Street area to get the car teched. The cruise is reserved only for the True Street competitors. Sorry this is part of the competition for the class. There will be times for Steve to sign cars, which will be separate from times where there's a line of people with him at a table.

As soon as we get the SOEC/Steve Saleen dinner information inked for Saturday night, we'll have more details available so that you can register with us.

In the meantime, see an earlier post in this thread for submitting your request to have your car signed so we don't miss you at the event.

See the link at the first post in this thread for the registration form -- you can fax it with a credit card.

If you register after July 25, you will miss out on parking with SOEC and on guaranteeing your car will be signed by Steve.
