just wanted to say hello to everyone here.

I just acuired my first Saleen (86-138) from Joe on here, and all I can say is WOW! Sometimes you can't trust what you see in pics on the internet so I was hoping the car was as good as it looked. The car was as nice as the pics showed and his description was accurate...thankfully I didn't waste a 19 hour round trip drive. The interior is real nice, the engine is stock, and the new paint work is beautiful.

This car is so cool to me because it brings back so many memories of my high school days when my brother and I would go to watch the Ford Dealers' 500 race though the streets of Columbus. I immediately think of those cool IMSA Mustangs of Lynn St. James and Bruce Jenner busting *** down the long back straight away!....man those 'stangs were cool!

I remember seeing these Saleens in magazines back then and dreaming of owning one and cruising around town....and finally now 20 years later I own one. Although I like all of the Fox bodied Saleens the 86 is my favorite year of all because of how much impact that car had on me when I was younger...man, I just couldn't be happier right now! :D

Same reason I bought mine, the 86 was the first mustang that made me want one eventually. Enjoy the car, she is a beautiful car.

hey guys, thanks. And thanks again Joe for working out the deal with me on this car. It's my absolute favorite Saleen year and color scheme. I go out to the garage and take a look sometimes and can't believe it's sitting there in MY garage!

My wife and daughter laugh at me because I like to look at the car so much! They say I'm just like the guy in the Armor All commercial that's staring at his car after he cleaned it up, and he can't take his eyes off of it...even as the garage door is coming down he's crawling down on the floor unable to break his drooling stare!
