Another Newbie here #1534 Supercharged Saleen Here

Just bought a new 06 Supercharged Saleen in Wind Veil Blue today off the showroom floor. If you go to my website, you will see I am a car nut. Been on alot of other boards with my other cars/stangs. Looking forward to learning and helping here. I will have nicer pics tomorrow I am sure. I got home alittle late from the dealer.

I did have my buddy Nitrous Pete over with his new Saleen...my friend Glen with his 07 Z06 Vette...his son with my dads old 2006 stage 2 supercharged Roush and a modified 03 GT Convertible. The neighborhood was rumbling from some serious horsepower today. I will get those other pics up in a new thread tonight some time. A very nice day.....103 miles on the new ride so far...

And thanks guys..great to be here. I will try and check in from time to time. I am all over the net and will do my best.

I had the stang out tonight for a few more miles and man am I hoping these brakes stop sqeaking when you are almost stopped...its fine stopping at speed..but man..when you get down to like 2 miles an hour...SQEEEEEEEEK.

Let me know you take on that. I hope I dont have to have the dealer swap the brakes already. I do not like bringing cars to the dealer. I just do not trust them at all. Sorry to dealers that are on here.

One friend of mine told me give the brakes time..they will stop making that noise. 120 miles so far.

I went and put the brakes through a few heat cycles of 50 or 60mph to 10 on the brakes prettty hard..just not slamming them on..then did that over again and then again. It did quiet the brakes down . It doesnt do it near as loud or as long. Just the last second once you are stopping. And not every time. 215 miles so far....she has time.

The other inside garage shot next to my car is my 83 Hurst Olds that was actually made into a toy by Johnny Lightning. Its on my website too.

Thanks for the comps on my car man. I am really loving the car...again..save for the front brakes squeaking.....should have new rotors up front on Monday under Warranty to take care of that. I have been driving her every night after work ..weather permitting..just went over 400 tonight...407. Trying to get to 500 for the first oil change so I can put some synthetic oil in her. Car sure is loving the cool air here. Just like my Terminators use too.
