Hey
Just bought my sc281 convert. screamin' yellow #376. It had 1,000 miles on it and wow what a car....... :shock:

The "Explorer XP" reference signifies the individual user post-count with the webboard, at some stage it then will state 'S281 SC,' or something similar.
I lurked here for 3-years. :oops:
If your car was a "new car sale." (I forget) Make sure your dealer notifies Saleen, Inc. of their sale... so you can receive your free one-year membership to SOEC and the other goodies you have coming to you.
I see you car is an '06 that had 1,000 miles. If it was a dealer demo or a tester... it was still a new car sale.

no it was private sale... The guy had it for 5 months and only put 1,000 miles on it.. Got the car for under 50k.... :shock:

Wow. I guess he didn't like it and HAD to rid himself of it.

yeah.
When I went down to florida to see the car after i won it on ebay,all i did was drool once he opened the garage door. i never took it for a spin. I walked around checked under the car and under the hood, noticed no body work etc. And said take me to the promise land...lol

WOW...that is a GREAT price. I have a 2006 S281 S/C and paid $60,000 and was happy not to pay the $9995 deal surcharge that other southern california dealers were charging. You got a steal......i am wayyyyy jealous. Mine is performance white. A guy with a new Z06 parked next to mine and we compared. How do you say "sucker" in chevrolet??? I was not impressed. it looks like any other corvette except for the slightly fliared wheels and the small hood scoop. the interior is the same plartic cheap stuff of the other vettes. I should know I had a C5 and it was truely late american plastic. At least now I do not see myself coming and going on every corner.

Exactly... We def won't pull up to a light and see another saleen pull along side of us.. And yeah my friend sold his 05 vette and bought the sc convert and said his vette was not nearly as fast or sweet of a ride... So If our arms could reach eachother we should pat ourselves on the back....lol
