Oct 1998 Super Ford got the same time in the 1/4mi not being able to hook in 1st & 2nd but got 123MPH. Not 116.7 like MT.
Super Ford... Maybe Tom Wilson (or whomever) knew what they were doing.
I think technically... the white one an '97 and the red one is a '96. I could be wrong. It happens often.
S351Saleen77 - Is your magazine vehicle feature online?
I think I can recall seeing the physical magazine at some point when it was on the stand, but... time is getting me.

I also have a Road & Track? where the MPH is 121 I think. The 166.7 that they quote is pretty low, could have been a hot day or something.
Heres a link to my article, they wrote the text from the magazine but got the year of the car mixed up a few times when they did it. Its correct in the magazine though. Lots of old pics at the beginning...a few changes since then.

Maybe. Greg loaned the magazines out to me. Some day it'll be online... to make moments like this easier.
