Found this on another Saleen site. Clearing out left over parts or a sign of something else?

Looks like there's enough stuff that some folks should get a deal.
Lots of wheels. I'll pass on the Amana frig.

Well my guess would be that the mustangs are DG chassis that were not built.
All of the S331 parts would make me guess that they aren't building them for 2009? Because if they were why would they sell these parts and lose $$$ on them.
I will be at the Troy plant tomorrow so I will have to ask a few questions about this even though the actual location in MI for the auction is Sterling Heights.

On other sites, Saleen employees have said it is just a case of duplicate equipment when ASC and Saleen merged and surplus items they no longer need. They say all is well.

I think this is just excess inventory... as far as the 08 cars go... the 09 are about to come out soon so they can't make any more 08s.

does anyone know if the 23" wheels for the f150 will fit on a 07 f150 4x4?

A heads-up. The '09 Mustangs are out. The first ones I spied were in July.

They have a bunch in Troy at Saleen. You can tell they are 2009's because of the emblem on the front quarter panel.

Call the company handling the auctions. I'm sure they will fill you in how to bid on some auctions.

The fitment is for a standard 4x2, 6-lug, RWD F-150. All S331s are RWD.
Your 4WD may have issues on the front hubs, but I do not know for sure.
Hopefully some of that if that helps, but keep in mind that 23" tires are not cheap.
Surely if someone picks up a lot of wheels, there will be some hitting the streets in sets of 4 or eaches.

So... I see the trend was about $18,000.00 for a new GT coupe? Not bad.

Cool when the main man addresses the concerns of the masses. Glad he did it.

I picked up some Focus parts I needed with lots of spares.
I think I purchased a framed print.

Awww... shuckers.
Actually, you bought several nice framed prints... so did I... oddly some of this stuff looks like it was never hung-up from when it was moved from Whatney, as some still have "movers" tags on them. Nice stuff from the '80s & '90s.
On a sad note, the atmosphere over at Fairbanks was rather grim, as lots of former employees came to look at and eventually buy and picked-up things from the auction and took away part of the company that many revered. Soon the once-bustling factory and corporate headquarters will be an empty shell.
But the good people remaining at Saleen Fairbanks are indeed moving to a new, appropriately-sized facility nearby -- SpeedLab, the engineering team and the sales team... more on that as it becomes available.
