Hood Question

Can anyone tell me the deal behind the "heat extractor" hood? I like the look and was thinking about getting one for my 98. Was a Saleen option or an aftermarket?

It was a Saleen option. Standard on the SRs, the Cobra based S281s, and became stardard on the S351s.

I believe there is a nice copy/replica of the Saleen Vented Hood on the market, but I can't recall the company that makes it.

I believe Kaenen (sp?) Makes an extractor replica and they are priced pretty competetively.
