Dear Saleen Owner or Enthusiast,

We could use a few good helpers -- and you might just earn yourself a free Saleen hat or T-shirt...

Our host event for the annual Saleen Show/Saleen Fest 2008 -- the BCMC Mustangs at the Queen Mary -- could use some extra helpers during setup on Saturday or for parking or cleanup on Sunday.

Saturday -- Goody bag stuffing starts at 9:00 a.m., but help is needed for various duties as well throughout the day from 10:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. marking spaces and other duties. There's also a meet & greet afterwards from 5:00-7:00 p.m, dinner will be served.

Sunday -- If you're able to help park any class, please arrive at 6:00 a.m. If you're entered for the show, you'll be able to park your car early. If you're a spectator, you'll want to find close by paid parking in an adjacent lot -- the show is sold out, but free to spectators. After the show, there's the inevitable -- cleanup.

For details, please visit http://www.bcmc.net (http://www.bcmc.net/) or http://bcmcmustang.homestead.com/QM12page.html

Or contact jon@bcmc.net

Or just show up.

Any help will be appreciated.

For the first 20 of you who able to help for an hour or two, SOEC will give you a free Saleen T-shirt or hat on Sunday. I will be there all day on Sunday.

Please feel free to call me any time. Hope to see you there, at least on Sunday!

Sincerely,

Jim Dvorak

Thanks, Hilmar -- It's at least nice to get some moral support! There are a few of us showing up at 6:00 a.m., so I think we'll be good!

Hi Jim, If I didn't live so far away, I would love to help out. If you ever have an event closer to Tennessee, please let me know. Maybe some day I can get out to your neck of the woods. Keep up the good work with the website and all. It is appreciated!

Thanks for your moral support, guys!

We had a great time... report to come in a separate thread, and to anyone who has photos, I'd sure appreciate copies for the club as I did not get a chance to shoot anything.

Ponypinoy, 05 Saleen, and Bambusero (with his two helpers) assisted Larry Mullen of SCOA who was leading the team of Saleen class parkers, and all proudly wore new Saleen colors while doing so -- though I still need to catch up with Larry on an addition to his Saleen wardrobe.
