i know there have been several questions about the "mystery" specs of the saleen s-351 cam. my question is: has anyone had good power results with a bigger "blower" cam? i am wanting more power and am thinking between longtube headers and a better cam grind i may be able to shut up my buddy with his kenne bell cobra. right now my car puts out about 480 rwhp.

I just rebuilt my 95 351. It is now a 408 and my machine shop went with Anderson Ford's B451 cam. For now, I am still using the very restrictive Edelbrock heads and Saleen intake. The car made 455 HP and 482 ft/lbs at the wheels before the rebuild. The machine shop expects HP & torque to be around 600 (flywheel). I will be on the dyno for a tune next week and will let you know how it goes.

hattrick and 505s351 I would be interested in buying your stock S351 cam. Mainly to get some spec's off it. I have heard that he used different grinds.

hattrick I'm really interested in yours since 95 #58 still has this cam and I don't intend to take the motor apart any time soon and yours is a 1995 cam. I just want to find out what they really are!!!

I was planning to keep the cam just because it is "original" but I am looking for a Windsor to stick it in so I can get the specs. I am finally on the Dyno at Quantum tomorrow. Hopefully it will go well!
