I wonder if Saleen will even bring something out since they are forsale? I would have hoped they have been working on it but who knows.

I like the interior. I think the flush gauge bezels are cleaner and no more whacking my elbow on the center console when I shift.

HP disappointment is all I come away with in the end. Looks good and follows the retro line the Challenger and Camaro have picked u pfrom the ealier Ford Retro movement, but it should be competing with the non-specialty cars at least. I expect the GT500 to be up against a Camaro SS and a Challenger SRT, but the GT doesn't even meet the Small V8's HP offered by Dodge. I guess we need a place to reign. :)

I told Mark Patrzik last night that I wasn't that hot on the 1994 either... until I saw the Saleen version.

I'm certainly not the one to ask, and this would be appropriate for the "Ask the Vice President" section.

Job 1 on the 2010 isn't until early February, with shipping towards the end of the month. I wouldn't expect to see any Saleens until after Summer simply because of the general state of the car market... likewise I'd wager that Shelby and Roush will also wait until current inventory adjusts.

But that's just speculation based on the obvious including that there are 2008s still sitting on a lot of lots.

A lot certainly depends on how many cars Ford is willing to give up for the high-end market, and their dealers are likely going to get first dibs on cars that can move fast.

When I met with Tom Ryan ( now retired) he did say that a 2010 was in "the works"
