brake upgrade

just wanted to know what brand the upgraded brakes are, or where i could buy the pads and rotors ? just want to have them on hand, no problems with the brakes so far. btw has anybody had an episode with the chrome wheels being so reflective when parked on dead dry grass it burned the grass? didn't go up in flames but it did burn black and it was smoking.

I believe that the brakes are Brembo....they are high dollar. If mine ever go out and I cannot find replacements, I will go with Baer. If Saleen wants $699.99 for their 157amp alternator, I can only imagine what they want for "their" brakes!

While I havent experienced the dead grass, chrome reflection predicament, I think its kind of cool. :)

I'm pretty sure they are Alcon brakes on the trucks. I was able to get ceramic pads for the 15" upgraded brakes at a local parts store. Shoot me a PM if you want the part number.

the brakes are made by stop tech, they are different than the s281E 15"s if you call saleen they should be able to help you find some replacements
