I inquired about the Saleen 157amp alternator. I contacted 3 vendors and heard back from two of them. The price for a 157amp alternator from Saleen.....$699.99 + shipping. No, that is not a joke.

I contacted another company and they said they could custom make us a 200amp alternator for $345 shipped.

Light, other than the use of accessories, does this ALT have any other benifets for these trucks? just getting my feet wet with all this electronic stuff. i work on mostly old stuff. thanks.

...probably not, unless you are running a serious stereo. I know everything in my truck dims when my fans kick on and off, but I am sure that has something to do with the relays and fuses that are used.

same problem here! the weather here is a swash! an cleaning a black truck is hard enogh without causing it to get worse. but ive got to get to it an run it for awhile even though it dont like starting in the cold, but im gonna check my manual to see if KS can use his keyless entry.i know it says something in there about it.
