I was wondering, does the PJ have a different suspension than the DG versions? or are they alike?
and are there any improvements to be made in both cars( besides the super shaker) to come close to 550-600HP?

Good question. I would think the PJ has the 1st Gen Watts and the DG has the 2nd Gen Watts. Both feature 19" wheels of different designs.

Saleen marketing said Dan personally influenced the suspension tuning of his Signature Edition Mustang... but I can't believe the underpinnings are not the standard Saleen/Racecraft stuff. With money being tight, I would be surprised if HP/ASC/Saleen did new springs rates and shock valving for the DG.

Hmmm...

All PJ post TSB/recall have the gen 2 watts link.

The one I drove didn't feel any different suspension wise compared to my pj.

This 1 cop pulled over both Parnelli Jones and Dan Gurney.

He is a crazy cop that pulls over everyone on a Sunday morning cruise. Said I was doing 63 in a 35. This was the expressway on ramp that is still within the parke boarders. Note the sign that says 55 where we were pulled over.
Got away with a "no front plate" ticket.

There are different struts and shocks on the Gurney than on the PJ. Same springs though. The Gurney also has Gen 2 Watt's Link.

Thank you
Jess

Hey Jess!

What are the differences in the valving? Firmer? Softer?

If you can PM me your #. I am going to order a couple of things soon and I don't wanna have to bug Timmer...
