Hi welcome to The Saleen Forums @ SOEC.org, thanks for stopping by!

96-0380? This one was owned by Shelly Miller. She added the Saleen Recaros after the purchase. Years-and-years ago she did a write-up on her website.

Multiple Saleen owner... 96-0380, 92-0019, and 99-0033 S351.

If memory serves me correctly... 96-0380 was driven off the showroom floor after her Toyota Supra was stolen.

Nice looking car, thanks for finding us!

Man that is so awesome! I have been trying to find who originally owned this car. Do you know how I can get ahold of her?

Bryan M. (forum member: Coupey) should be able to help. He repurchased his 92-0019 and I believe he went through tracking all the owners between the time he sold it to when it came back home.

Shelley might have disappeared. There was drama over some of the cars she owned (or claimed to) and there supposedly was a habit of cars getting stolen from her. Beats me.

Hmmm weird. I know that when i bought it, a guy named dave had bought it from her. he built the motor in it and put on a vortech ( that became a nightmare) lol, anyways when i got it the speedster cover was gone, and so was the 351 hood. an mag wheels had been switched to 00 R wheels. Ive just been tryin to put the pieces together on where the wheels, ford leather and what not went. Very interesting how things turn out

...speedster cover was gone, and so was the 351 hood. an mag wheels had been switched...

If you look around various Mustang classifieds and basic internet searches... you should be able to find a new or used 1994-1998 Saleen Speedster cover. If memory serves correctly, in addition all these early Speedsters were also Spyders (soft 2-seat tonneau cover). An original Saleen vented 1994-1998 hood could be a difficult find in the short term, but long term with enough searches and networking... you should be able to find one. Or, you can purchase on the quality copies made by Kaenen.

The 1996-1998 non-Speedline aluminum wheels can be found.

Ya i do have the spyder cover.

Good stuff. These covers might be hard to find away from a car.

the speedlines however where gone =(

The non-Speedline, Speedline looking wheels can be found. We have a forum member that has a website dedicated to Saleen wheel facts. Your '96 probably should have the Saleen produced replica Speedline aluminum wheels. Sound confusing?

They look like the Italian made Speedlines Saleen used on the earlier S351 cars, but they are not.

I may have a bead on a s351 hood local. do you know how much shipping is on those Kaenen hoods?

No, but there seems to be a few dealers for Kaenen parts. Maybe you can find one locally.

Does anyone know if the 96 or this 96 came with a console plaque?

In theory all the serialized production Saleen vehicles should have an interior ID plate.

Though... they've been known to ship without. Either because of availability or human error.

I don't know if 96-0380 was shipped with a plate installed, but maybe someone reading this will.
