How bad is the rust?

The Mustangs do the same thing. The easy method is to remove the screens, brush with a scotch bright or steel wool and recoat with a quality rust inhibitor paint.

the screens are only fastened with a few hexhead screws , pretty easy to take 'm off, the ones at the lower rear valance can be harder to reach.:tongue:

brush them and paint them and you're all set, it's mostly some surface rust just under the paint.:eek:

If you want or need extra mess I have a source for it, they are not cut to XP size, you can do that with some snips.

They have two sizes 4 x 5 and 4 x 9

There is mesh located in more than what place on the XP's ground effects, so what should I measure to determine whether it requires 4 x 5 and 4 x 9 mesh?

Do you know the part nember for the mesh or the hole size and spacing? I am needing a larger size to replace the baffles on one of the tailpipes off my 1998. Thanks!
