Techco products were discontinued. Here is a finished Techco hood for sale. For more pics, PM me. Original MSRP $1700 (Discontinued). This product is prepped and includes vents w/butterfly valves.

Did you add the S/C wing to your Speedster? Did you plan to use the SMS A25 butterfly hood?

Yeah, you noticed! After long debate, I decided the wing complimented the tonneau cover. As for the SMS/Techco hood, I had planned on using it for my speedster but not sure if it's what I want. If it were installed, I would think about doing an SMS 460 conversion!

Ben is sporting the SMS emblems on his 2005 3-Valve. :smile:
If you do the butterfly hood... you can then do the SMS 296 S/C... have Spring provide an SMS 460 emblem set... and have your own silver anniversary car. :wink:
Then advertise SMS Superparts during the GAR tour.

You are in my head Dave! I got a quote on the SMS supercharger this morning. If Christmas comes early, then maybe that will be a possibility. If an SMS conversion does come about, then maybe it can be featured in the Saleen Alley (hint, hint)!

How much for the hood? I called SMS Superparts and got a quote of $1700 for the whole setup and also the choice between aluminum and carbon fiber. Just curious what you were asking. The reason I don't want to order through them is because their wait could be up to 6 weeks on getting the order. I'm looking for something a little quicker but I don't want to pay any more than I think I should.
