WTB - 2007 Saleen Owners Manual

Hey Guys...when I purchased my 07-0042E from the dealer, it came with no Saleen booklets, manuals etc. I can get just about everything from Saleen except the Owners Manual.

Did the Extreme models have different owners manuals?? If they did, then I need an extreme manual, if not, then I need a standard Saleen owners manual.

any help would be appreciated

Hey Rick,

Looking at my manual, it appears to have 3v, S/C and "E" information. I would call your dealer and see if they have any extras laying around (they usually do).

Edit: My owners manual has 3V and S/C information in it. I guess I should've looked closer. Maybe Jess Albright can help you locate one.

Jarred: Called and talked to SPV when I was ordering up my letter of authenticity, window sticker and other related Saleen stuff that came with the car originally, but they don't have any more 2007 E owners manuals left. So I will continue to post, check ebay, and other sites per chance that I find one. I will find one eventually.

I just don't understand...when people sell a car such as a Saleen, especially one that is fairly new and low mileage like mine, why they wouldn't have all the stuff in the glove box or give the new owner or dealer the appropriate materials. Alright, I done with my rant for the night.

Check with the guys at www.buyspeedparts.com (http://www.buyspeedparts.com) I am looking a copy of one I purcjased from them right now. Ask for Mike or Chris they have both helped me out. It only cost $10 plus shipping.

Dave or others familiar with the ways of Saleen: Kendoo130 has listed an ebay link to a 2007 S281 Extreme Owner's Handbook and Warranty Supplement...is this what Saleen calls the Owner's Manual??

Kinda'. This would be the Owners Manual and vehicle warranty supplement.

It's missing the leatherette booklet, letter from Saleen Inc and tire pamphlet.

For the cost of shipping, I can send you the leatherette booklet from my '06 manual.

Dave: Thanks for the info and the offer. I have already sourced the leatherette booklet from SPV and the other stuff. The only thing they didn't have was the owner's manual. So just to be clear. The 2007 Owners Handbook and Warranty supplement is what I'm looking for?? (what I call the owners manual).

If you buy what is listed on eBay, you'll be in good shape on the Saleen side.

Saleen vehicles also include the standard Ford owners manual set (not sure if you have those).

No, I do not have the standard Ford owners manual. I guess that is the only thing that I would need to complete all the stuff that you would normally get if you bought the car new?? Correct??
