I have recently got an E-Car with Silver 5 spoke wheels and I have waited for them to grow on me, but they are not. My wheels are for sale.

The silver wheels compliment that color so well. Are you thinking of switching to the 7-spoke?

I am thinking of about 5 spoke chrome, or the SpeedStar wheels. If I find the dark chrome SpeedStar wheels I will be dead set on those. I am in no rush either.

I believe what we know as the Dark Horse wheels still have a tendency to turn up on eBay, now and then.

Found-A-Deal / Buy Speed Parts might be a source for the chrome, forged 5-stars.

Recall, the Speedstars weigh as much as the wagon wheel 7-spokes.

Best wishes on the search!

couldn't you have your alloys turned chrome? Also, is your pops a local beach area Saleen. I am always looking out for other Saleens in the area to get together, do he attend any events?

How much are you looking to get for them? I just seen last week a staggered set from Found a Deal new in the boxes went for 599.

I am focusing on trying to find replacements right now. How well can anyone trust Found A Deal?

Currently I can find Silver 5 spokes for 765 before shipping. I will sell my 4 for 700+shipping. I spent a relaxing 3-4 hours on my car on Sunday and washed the inside of the rims. The powder coat is perfect with some extremely minimal show of use over time.

I would hope that I could arrange a sale, purchase new wheels, then send the silver wheels out once the new wheels were here and installed. That would be best. I would also be able to use the shipping boxes from the wheels I bought to ship the silver wheels.

I am thinking about getting 5 spoke chromes or the SpeedStar rims. If someone had either and wanted to trade that would be of interest.

His car is in LA and he is in Hawaii, so we only get to visit the car a few times a year. When we do, we try to plan long weekends around events and get togethers.

I have a buyer. We will be working on making this transaction happen over the next week or so. I will update this thread once things have come to a conclusion.

Sweet...speedstar rim's are 10 pounds lighter than the 7-spoke rims...I'm going to buy a set of speedstar's next month for sure...I can't wait...them being lighter is a bonus...I think they are nicer than any of the other rims...certainly more of an updated look.

Can anyone recall the weight of the 7 spokes, 5 spokes, and the speedstar wheels?
