Check engine light comes on and car is now due for inspection. Code is EVAP small leak. :mad:It turns out that the watts link came into contact with the fuel vapor line. :mad:This is the black line next to the alum. line in the center of the spare tire wheel well. Suspension travel of watts link cross bar crushed line and set off the light.

Has anyone experienced this.

I now have to buy a new line $300. plus labor to and re-route the 2 lines so it does not happen again. :mad:Car is over 36 months old. Out of Saleen and Ford warranty. Go figure.

Now I only have to remember to inspect this in the spring when out of hibernation! I assume any S197 with the Watts Link would be suspect...Thanks for the information..
