Just received PJ 255.

The only bad thing is that it came with no manuals nor any of the other goodies.

Anyone have a good source?

I guess I can only hope that mine stuff shows up on eBay sometime.

One interesting note is that it does have LoJack. Of course I live in the midwest and LoJack does not cover this area as far as I am aware of.

Thanks.

Jess Albright - Fantastic Fellow and a Plethora of knowledge in regard to all things Saleen, would be my guess.

Hi and welcome to THE Saleen Forums @ SOEC.org!

Last I heard from someone that inquired to MJA/SPV about PJ manuals... they either sold out or can't find the booklets for PJs.

eBay can be your source for a factory Ford Motor Company 2007 Mustang manual set. MJA/SPV (Jess Albright) should have the number "15" door clings, PJ floor mats, PJ key chain and various items to complete your 255.

I purchased a spare 2007 Mustang manual set and a 2008 Saleen H302 3-Valve manual to keep in the glove compartment of my PJ. The 2008 supplement can be a temporary cure to having no manual. In my case, I wanted to keep the OE manuals as mint as possible.

I have just purchased a set of 2007 Mustang manuals with case off of eBay.

I will contact Jess about any other stuff. Not sure I want to pay $200 for a set of meatballs.

I have the floor mats. The PO had grabbed everything else out of the car.

Thanks for the info.

Can you find the previous owner?

This is going to be a silly question, but do you know what equipment is missing? Do you have the tire inflate kit? Eagle One detail kit? Saleen lug wrench?

Thanks to all for the help.

Without giving out too much information about the PO, the car is a repo out of California.

One of the risks you have when buying a vehicle that was processed through an auto auction. Somebody along the way grabbed the stuff and I am sure that the items have already passed on through ebay.

The only thing that was not bolted down that I have are the floor mats.

I am not concerned about the cleaning kit, pump, or meatballs. I do need the the lug nut wrench. The one with the spare tire does not fit. It is painted black.

Any Saleen manuals would also be helpful.

Anyone have a spare wrench?

Thanks again for the help.

Skip. Found-A-Deal / Buy Saleen once had eBay listings for the Gorilla lug wrench.

David, was it any different than any off the shelf gorilla wrench?

This appears similar to the wrench I have. The Saleens only have one socket though.

David, does your socket have a size stamped on it?

Thanks again for the replies.

Thanks Bruce, Internet forums are always a good place to share and find out information.

Do you guys run synthetic oil in yours now that they are broke in? If so, what brand and weight?

Hopefully I am not committing PJ blasphemy but mine will be headed to the local road course for open track days and then be the wife's errand running car on occassion.

Thanks again.

Just filled mine with 6 quarts of Mobile 1 5W-30 @ 501 miles. The Saleen supplement manual recommends a synthetic after the break-in period.

13/16 of an inch.

Thanks for all of the info. I have acquired a 2007 Mustang factory manual set and the gorilla wrench. I also have the 6qts of Mobile 1 5w30 and filter for an oil change this week.

Next question.

Does the PJ just use standard DOT3 brake fluid or did Saleen swap it out for DOT5?

Thanks in advance for the answer.

I see there is a Gurney "owners manual" listed on eBay for $9.99 + tax...seems cheap, but think that would work for in car copy?

A better buy would be a 2008 H302 3-Valve owners guide for the same money.
