Ok i did a very quick search of PJ forum and nothing jumped out at me.
I am in OHio and have to have the front plate....i bought the front plate bracket from "Craig's Brackets" for my '07 SC 281....and i finally got around to looking at using the same bracket on the PJ...not going to work.
I just called Craig and he said he has a GT500 on that work's on PJ's....but he is out of pocket without his tools until 2nd week of july before he can get me one...
that is quite a bit of time to test my luck with the law, anyone else have any other front bracket solutions that do not require drilling?
thanks!!

Sorry, I can't help since I don't run a front plate on my PJ.

I just got around to putting one on last week. I went with a Skene Design bracket. You can not see the two time screws due to the positioning. It is attached on the lip opening for the lower grill. You can not see any holes if you remove the bracket. I ordered the "extra short" bracket size. I used the soft part of a velcro strip to protect any contact points between the bumper and bracket. Sorry for the crappy late night phone pictures.

It is law here in all states of Australia to have a front plate.
This is how I got around the problem with PJ45. Not legal but effective.
I had a company replicate the plate with vinyl stickers and stuck it to the bumper just like a metal one. Hopefully won't have any issues with PD.

Since the introduction of speed cameras the DOT has changed the standards on License Plates and made them reflective, this enables the cameras to get better photographs.

Interesting idea...would not be technically legal in California either, but maybe worth a try.

I have been told about one for the GT500 on www.trailerrebuilders.com (http://www.trailerrebuilders.com) as well.
Anybody know if that one would work for the PJ as well?

I just talked to Ken there, he said if there are two bolts under the front chin spoiler it should work. he told me to measure the distance between the centers of the bolt holes and the distance to the front edge of the car and he can verify if it should fit or not.

Hi Tony,

I'm curious, did a CHP visit sway your decision for the front plate?

Thx, PK

No. I have participated in a few cruises lately and some have been stopped after the gathering for things like no plate. No sense asking to be stopped.

I run a removable front plate. Bracket secured to 2 bolts of spoiler and 2 smapp bolts with wing nuts hold on plate which is attached to am L shaped bracket.
