Spotted: #436 and #474

Hi,

I dropped by my local dealership yesterday. A bit of a time warp, the centerpiece of their showroom floor was an '08 GT500KR. Their other display car was an awful "Faleen" concocted by the dealership - a few Saleen parts and a body kit, odd looking badges - why a dealership would throw together something like this I have no idea...

Out the side, they still have two PJs, #436 and #474, with an asking price of $40k. I kind of wish I could adopt all of these cars, as they really are deteriorating. The KR was asking $63k, and already had some nicks in the stripes. I really wonder what will happen to these cars - I have a feeling that they will eventually get stuck in storage at the back of the dealership and forgotten about...

I was dealing with them on trying to get them down on price a few months ago but they were stuck there...suprised they haven't been more agressive to make them go.

When I bough mine in Feb 2008, they would not move of MSRP of those two cars. I ended up getting my from Southern Calif (Santa Margarita Ford) for 10K off MSRP.

What a shame; those cars were built to be driven...

...I wonder if they performed the TSB on the Watts Link on those two cars...probably not. Hopefully they will deal & they will find good homes.

They have less than 400 miles each last i knew....and they had not performed the TSB on the Watts. It is a shame!
