The first one was sold for $120,000 as all proceeds went to a children's charity. The second one sells on Sunday.

that is fantastic. Also a thunderbird sold for $100,000 and all money went to Loma Linda hospital. :smile:

They never gave the mileage on TV (unless I missed it).
And yes that was good money (especially on Sunday) considering what others have been selling for but then again it was a BJ auction.

The second one went for $44,000 today.
The PJ (#49) sold at auction on Sunday, I believe went at an even $40,000. I was there during the bidding. I spoke to the seller. He bought the car at an auction in Texas about 9 mo ago. Paid $22,000. He calims to have driven the car hard since then, to include driving to Orange County for the BR Auction. The car had a nasty, very visable, 4 inch scratch on the left side of the hood and had a 4 inch "imperfection" on the deck lid near the back window. Also, all of the flat black had been polished and was no longer flat. In my opinion, the car was a $32-35,000 car. The $120K paid for the PJ on Saturday for the charity may have had an impact.
