Update: Certain 2005-09 Saleen Body Parts & Brake Kits Available
 

Greetings,

I just wanted to post a new thread about a topic that concerns many of you, primarily in hopes that it will ease some of the anxiety going on.

There are some parts, especially front and rear body parts for 2005-09 S-series Saleens, that are on temporary back order.

I realize this is of importance not only to those of you who have their cars in the body shop due to accidents, but those of you who want to feel secure that you have replacement parts available when you'll need them.

I just got off the phone with Steve, and I can assure you that this is a high priority for him, as he has stated before. The current situation is complicated by a series of circumstances that occurred over the years, starting in January 2009, so it will take some time to rectify them.

Above all, be patient.

We've had some estimated due dates posted here in other threads, and due to the nature of getting these produced and complications that have come up, that date keeps getting pushed back.

Please refrain from speculating or expressing your frustration here, and I don't want you to be confused with misleading statements on reseller websites stating parts may be discontinued and getting confused on what that means.

Again, please be patient, understanding, and we'll be sure to keep you posted with real information directly from Steve or his key people.

Hey Jim, I ordered two third brake lights a month or two ago. Any idea how long it will be before they will be available?

I'm following this as well -- they are working with their supplier to resolve some quality assurance issues.

The latest update on the body kits and 3rd brake lights is that they're still working on resourcing them and re-tooling, so they continue to be on back order.

I talked with Steve today and they are busy working on these products and other projects behind the scenes... we'll keep you posted.

Jim D do you have any idea of a time frame on parts. 1-3 months 3-6 months etc. We have a customers 05 s281 in the shop with front and rear damage thats been here for over 8 months now. I'm not going to hold you to a date just curious if its been discussed so I can update the customer.

I talked with Steve recently and he hopes to have an announcement for us soon... these things take time.

It's probably best to deal with 281 as Saleen is pretty busy with the LA Auto Show going on the next 2 weeks -- and Jason's team has great customer service.

I got an update from Molly and Steve last night and there are a lot of things coming available and too much to list here in any detail just yet because they have backorders to fulfill and need to get them online.

But for you OneQwkStang, I talked with Molly about you, and a new shipment of 2005-09 3rd brake light LEDs are also on their way and due in late December or January, so your replacement is coming through Molly if that's okay. They'll be back in stock for everyone else, of course.

HELP, I Need H302SC Bumper and Spoiler
 

I need front bumper and spoiler for H302SC 2008. Alloy Paint, any ideas where I could find?

I think I have one coming now.....not 100% sure tho.:confused:

2005-09 body kits remain in stock.

2005-09 brake kits in stock.

2005-09 floor mats in stock with SALEEN (S281 mats coming soon).

2005-09 3rd Brake Light LEDs are still to arrive, but are coming in the next month or two... update to come.

2005-09 Extractor Hood Vents are also about 2 months away... update to come.

I noticed the center wheel caps (2005-09) have disappeared. Those are an important and inexpensive item, any idea about availability on those?

I am still waiting for an intercooler pump bracket for an 05

Do you have hardware to mount the pedals? Also the dead pedal assembly?

FYI: They sent me an incomplete kit missing a handful of essential parts to complete the body kit and I have been waiting since January...I hope they can get this issue figured out since I am a long time loyal customer.

Same thing happened to me just now getting the small stuff to have to the kit completed it was so frustrating to pay the amount for a kit to be missing parts and etc

Seriously, we paid $1600 for a kit that we can't even use!

Any news on restocking parts for our cars?
