I'm guessing you have one of the only S197 Saleens in Finland!!

Without a panhard bar (which keeps the rear end centered), you can definitely fit a 295 Michelin Pilot Sport tire without rubbing the rear fenders if you have the stock Saleen 10" (50mm offset) wheel.

With a panhard bar installed, folks have said they fit 305 Michelin Pilot Sports.

I have an aftermarket 10" wheel with a 45 mm offset and fit a 295 Michelin Pilot Sport without issue.

As seelye76 mentioned, some tires run narrow. The only 315s I've heard fitting on the rear were Nittos, which I understand run narrow compared to Michelins. But others can weigh in if they've actually fit 315s of other brands on the rear.
