Just looking for some feedback.... I thought I had read somewhere that when convertibles and coupes were delivered to Saleen for conversion the rear deck lids were pulled to have the wings mounted and painted. This practice supposedly presented the opportunity for deck lids to not make it back on to the cars they were born with.

The reason I am asking is my car is missing the VIN sticker on the underside of the deck lid and I am trying to figure out if it has been swapped or if this is the standard. The car is an '89. THANKS!
