Some of it depends on the intent of purchase. If the new owners simply wanted the Supercharger and/or engine programs and got a great deal on the street car and name rights, not bad.
They also purchased an established dealer network and possible "brand" for items developed under their various holdings.
The larger picture could also place Saleen as just another piece of the MJ puzzle, like Arrow Engines, and not a last or significant piece. Maybe CT & HP knew how to group the assets. Knew what one or two divisions were important and grouped it with the lesser stuff.
Time will tell.
