Enjoy. The heat coming into the car I have not experienced. It maybe due to me driving on cool days only. Or always having the ac on. My front brakes were the same as you described. I have a 2014 Gt 500 and the brakes on that are awesome. So I went on ebay and bought 2014 GT 500 six piston Brembos with 15 rotors on front and the 14" Gt 500 rears. The fronts just bolted on, the rear use an adapter on the original caliper/pads.
Of course I kept the original Saleen front/rear, but for driving, I like the Shelby 500 brakes. Oh, the front barely clear the rim. But cleared.
