Default Q: Intercooler pump working correctly?

Hi guys,

I am actually working on the my S281SC, finishing to rebuild the engine (I bought the car with a blown engine).
I have a question on the intercooler pump.
I plugged it straight to the battery to check it: it's working but it's really, really noisy!
I know that it is supposed to be plugged on the PCCM. I have the instruction manual and I have to check how to.
Is the pump working (debit increasing) with the rpm of the engine or not?
If it is, I will plug it correctly. If not, I surely can just plug it on a positive spot.

Thank you!

I do not think that it works with the RPM of the motor. It run at a regulated speed as far as I know.

When you ran it did was it installed and coolant in the system?
If not, I don't think you can judge it by how noisy it is on a bench.

You are right. But, yes, for sure there was coolant in the system.
For now, I meet another problem: I have no controller between the intercooler fan and the PCCM.
Previous owner plugged directly the fan on the positive with a switch on the dashboard (with a relay). Anyone know where I could find a controller?
I just had m'y first ride with the car with the engine rebuilt: happy!
Thanks!

You may want to try 281 motorsports. They are in California. I think the guys name is Eric. I have chatted with him several times. The number is 1-714-575-1505. He has a lot of stuff at his shop.
