Default Saleen Dealer Car Show
Today, Sam Pack Five Star Ford of Plano (Formerly Middlekauff Ford), held a car show benefitting Holy Angel's. We had a few Saleens there including a 1 of 1 Liquid Mercury Saleen Extreme, Saleen S281SC Speedster, Saleen Mustang, Saleen Supershaker Heritage 302, Saleen S281E and other cars.

· JLT CAI/ 373 gears/ 3.25 Pulley/ Upgraded vacuum lines,
· GT500 Fuel Pump/ Pre gapped plugs/ MGW Shifter/39lb injectors
· Custom Dynojet Tuned/ MSD Digital Shift Light/ SCT Tuner.
· Car pulled 466 RWH/421 Torque on dyno only at 6400 RPM

This is interesting. The owner purchased Liquid Mercury #116 and the black Speedster from Middlekauff Ford of Plano. After researching more, I stumbled upon Liquid Mercury #562 but not sure where it was purchased from. Were there two?

I mind was mistaken, then. I believe there was only one Liquid Mercury S281 Extreme coupe. For some reason... I had Campbell being the receiver. I have vague memories of the dealer photos... the quality made me say Campbell.

I think Liquid Mercury was a late addition to the Custom Color Chart in 2007. I do not believe many Saleen vehicles were produced in this color. The S/C above is the first one I've seen (that was not the E vehicle and Liz Saleen's S331).

Good eye! I didn't catch that #562 was an S281SC.

Remember that Steve's Twenty-Fifth Anniversary SMS 281 show car was done in "Chromosome," which was a close match to liquid mercury.

I actually own #562. It is a 2007 Liquid Mercury which has under 5k miles. There were just 2 cars of this kind and Liz Saleen's S331 Pick up painted in this color.
