Default Q: Replacement Bilsteins? - 1984-86

Does Bilstein have the correct replacement shocks and struts for my '85?? I was on Bilsteins website but it asks for a series and I don't know what series shocks Saleen used.

I don't think anybody has a strut for 86 and earlier cars anymore. Eibach makes one, but its obviously not what you're looking for. I'll probably go with the Eibachs, and paint them yellow or blue, whatever color is right, for 85.

I scored some NOS Bil rears locally, and they ended up on one the 85's that was being restored.

Have you considered having Bilstein rebuild them? I will be looking into this soon. Not sure if they can duplicate the original graphics, though.

Probably like the Konis on my svo. It will cost an arm and a leg.
But I will check with them and see.

I would check with maximum motorsports, I'm pretty sure they can have Bilstein overhaul and/or revalve the shocks and struts if you send them to them.
