Help: Round marker light not working
One of the small circular driving lights (passenger side) on the front of my car quit working. I've checked the obvious:
1st: swapped the lamps to make sure it wasn't blown 2nd: swapped the black sockets that hold the lamps to rule out a bad pin 3rd: checked the voltage to both connectors to verify power was there Results: - both lamps are good - the black socket works on the opposite side - 10.8 volts +\- to both sockets at the pins which hold the lamp My mind is blown. I've swapped the lamps to opposite sockets too. Right now I'm running Sylvania's 6k LEDs, but I tried a halogen to rule out a low wattage issue as well. The halogen works on the one side, but not the other. Are there any auto-electric gurus here? I am an electrical sales person and understand AC voltage and can correlate that to DC, but this is just weird.

Just curious if anyone knows of a ground wire that may be used with those running lights and if so if it's shared with the blinker. Still trying to track down the problem

Have you traced the wire to its "splice"? I believe the factory turn signal harness was extended to reach up there, so you should check that. It would be best to pull the fascia off to do this. If you need any help with this, give us a call and I'll let you chat with one of our techs whom all have worked on the Saleen production line for years.
