Default GOT a new shifter?

After the well appreciated suggestions I got the
"Hurst 3910201 Competition/Plus Manual Shifter"
my budddy installed it Saturday in about a hour and a half and that was with picking the car up and bringing it back.
Man I love the difference, love the ease and the feel plus the looks are at the top of the satisfaction list...Now? if I can just get Tony to send me that Super Shaker set up.... I know, send check.. we send SS

could really use some help with this, no track stuff just a good shifter, and I want old school, you know with the 5 speed pattern on it.
and I'll see if my bubby can do the replacement at his shop, I just don't bend as easy as I use to!
I have the HURST short throw..with white knob indicating "5 speed pattern". See link below

I just installed an MGW ( I've had hurst and Pro5.0 before) and the MGW is the best hands down...

went online and picked up the Hurst Competetion short shifter last night for $180 from Amazon after ready the FordMuscle review, thinking it will be more than enough to make me happier especially for the price, not really into seeing how much smoke the car can generate at the cost for the tires, thanks one and all. Will post my opininon later after the install

IF you were to order just the knob for the stock shifter, what are the dimensions? Is it 12mm or 3/8?

iv'e got the pro 50 and like it very much. mgw is nice as well, the only problem is the pro 50, mgw and the steeda replace the factory two bolt strap and the hurst does not. the 3 I just talked about have it built into the shifter it self and have a better positive feel to it. the 3 dont have any forward slop most of the other after market shifters are the same as the hurst they just give you a polly replacement bushing
