Default Seeking info: 05-0416 S281

Anyone here have any history on 05-416? It started out as an S281 3-Valve but somewhere along the way a Saleen Series VI Supercharger was added!

The car was sold through a dealership in Ohio and then traveled to New York and then somehow it ended up in Florida. I purchased the car from a dealer in Port Orange Florida and the car has only 14,8xx miles on it!

If anyone has any information on the car it would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Jim! My notes list 05-0416 as a factory Supercharged car. If accurate, this would have been a very early 2005 S281 SC production car. It appears year 2005 SC production began in April. Your car was shipped in March. As stated, there may be an error in my notes.

Dave,

The reproduction MSRP document I got from Saleen shows the car was produced as an S281 that was sent to Bob Gillingham Ford. The only optional equipment list is the Chrome Wheel Upgrade. Based on this document I assumed that the supercharger and gauges were installed after it left the plant.

If there is anyway to confirm this I would greatly appreciate it!

Thanks!
