Default I need to replace an emblem...

So last year, when I purchased my car, I went through a horrible experience with the dealership concerning some missing parts and paint work. Long story short, after 3 trips to the body shop for work, I finally gave up on them, and brought the car home(paint work was sub-par). During a thorough cleaning, I noticed that the S281 emblem on the driver's side was dulled down, missing most of the chrome. I was horrified, called the dealership, and after being given the run around, I got no where. I assume they must have gotten something on it (maybe rubbing compound + buffer?) that ate at the chrome. Anyway, it's finally started to bother me enough to replace it. Where can I order this?

I believe that those are stuck on with a double-sided tape. Any input on the best way to remove the originals without chancing damaging the paint or anything else?

A hairdryer and plastic fishing line has worked for me in the past on plastic emblem removal.

Heat lamp and sunlight should work as well... maybe a plastic spatula too.
