Q: All-season tires? - 2005 S281
Hi guys. I am looking for a set of all-season tires for my 2005 Saleen S281 Coupe. So far, I have check out Toyo tires' Proxes 4 Plus. Any other recommendations?

I've had good luck with Nitto Invos, they grip well, for a radial, they are soft though

My car has the Continental Extreme Contact DWS tires and they are rated really well everywhere I've looked but I don't like how they look.

First winter with my 07 was pirelli scorpion ice & snow. They were mud&snow rated and unbelievably confidence inspiring but I think they were really snows, not all seasons. If you have your saleen out in the snow, you might reconsider real snow tires. NOt a critique but a seasoned offer to reconsider. I have all season cooper rs3-a on my mazda daily now. They are fine but I really drive tentatively when there's snow on the road. They get me home when needed and I stay home when I see it is silly outside. If you have to drive in the winter with the car and its likely to snow, really think about a snow tire. I am in Denver now and grew up driving in Upstate NY before 4 wheel drive was common. Had Blizzaks on a 93 Cobra(daily driver for years) driving home in a wicked snow and saw a Suburban and Jeep slide off the road and I got home. Its about rubber compounds, sipes and tread.
