Default Q: Aluminum air intake elbow on SC cars?

Did saleen ever use aluminum version as my 2000 car has one and my 2002 is plastic? Or is it aftermarket piece on my 2000 car?

I believe the 2002-04 Extreme and 2003-04 SC had factory aluminum air intakes.

Can we clarify...are we talking about an intake elbow...for a non sc car...or the elbow leading to the sc? Saleen did use plastic ones for some years...and aluminum for others...definitely not a GT part on I believe any of these years...unless you are talking about a non-sc lower intake which stock GT would be plastic. Ok my $.02

A quick pic of both could be helpful then most would be able to say if its factory Saleen or not.

Thanks Dave.
Dark, it is for a sc car. The car is in storage right now, I need to take a trip up to northtown on the weekend to check what brand intake it is.

Right on...yeah post pics if you can. And I believe the Saleen plastic ones have the saleen name on it. Some if not all the plastic ones did.
