Default New owner: 90-0178 "7-Up" Convertible

Hello Everyone,
I am new to Saleen ownership having just purchased #90-178 out of a garage two blocks from my parents house where it was been being stored. The car is in great original condition and only has 10,700 miles on the odometer. The car was an off-market deal being sold by the original owner's widow who was looking to free up space. I didn't even know the car existed at this time last week! Looking forward to getting the car cleaned up and back on the road! If anyone has info on this car, it would be greatly appreciated as well. Thanks in advance.

Thanks again,
Reid

Congrats on the car, and now if you use the result from Barrett Jackson 2 days ago, its worth a lot more.... (humor intended, but one sold for an insane amount of $82k, not $8200, $82,000!!!! WTF)....

You, my friend, have great timing!

Aside from the whole 'wrapper car' deal, your car is far more special than a regular 7-Up vert. As a multiple Saleen Fox owner, I've always wanted to pull a low mile Saleen from the grip of a widow. We're all kinda like vultures in that way. Someday it'll be all of us.

Since we're talking B-J now, I'm shocked the triple white summer special car didn't get the bigger purchase price. Far less common car, and more content.

SSC's still hovering in the mid-to high 30's....

Thanks everyone! I'm loving the car so far! So what's this Barrett Jackson car everyone is talking about?

Its a regular, non-Saleen, 90 LX green 5.0 vert with nearly no miles that somebody just bid up to 82,000 dollars at the Barrett Jackson auction.

Gas Monkeys were the sellers.
