Steve Saleen Presents: 2010 SMS 460 Mustang

Love the car... and the price is fine, considering the limited production numbers we should expect. (As i understand it, the inflated production numbers of the 05+ Saleen's is part of the reason Steve left Saleen in the first place)

So returning to his roots of High Performance, limited production exclusive cars was the point of SMS... You're paying for more than the sum of the SMS 460's parts...

I'll definitely be getting one someday...

I see "Rear LightBlade™ Illumination" listed on the spec sheet / Order Guide for the SMS 460.

Maybe it's a hint to something more?

This SMS model stayed true to form...looks more like the 05-08 Saleen.

The only thing that looks weird is the lower exhaust spoiler.


I agree with other people the 2010 Saleen looks like a Racecraft model.

The Saleen Inc car is the first car in a line of cars that are suppose to be produced. The one that was shown was the base model. There is a model with a more aggressive body kit coming out also.

As for the SMS car....overpriced, way exaggerated body kit, and terrible "bang for your buck".....same old same old. Those holes in the rear lower fenders look like they are missing parking lights.

Had tear in rear muffler on my 281 and had it fixed in 2 weeks..over 1000 in repairs..fixed and im thrilled..im gonna tell the whole story in an upcoming post...SMS does honor there commitments which goes a long way...
i must say tho that mj also said that they would also let me put a claim in but i already had ball rolling with sms and didnt know if mj would have actually honored it but they made the offer...

The 2010s, which are reportedly starting production next month, are still being called SMS 460s.

But the 2011s, well... I'm not at liberty to say, but you may be thinking in the right direction.

Can someone please post some pictures on here after the unveiling? I can not wait to see what this car looks like. I have to be at work and can not make it. If it matches the photoshop'd picture.....it should really look impressive
