Nice. For some reason, the wing looks a little funny without the trunk extension pieces. It looks like it is bent downward or isnt placed correctly on the trunk....

I think Campbell Ford wanted $30,000.00 for their White Label 302, after discounts. Your red one has those custom wheels to tend to.

that's exactly where this one is but with the addition of the wheels to factor in on top. the structure of the deal is where we're hitting a snag. i've got the dealership to where they're literally making no money, they just need it off the lot soon or they will start getting penalized by ford for not having it sold yet. they'll get to where i need them, i'm just being patient

I would let them keep the wheels. Pick up a set of take-off GT wheels or purchase a set of Saleen wheels.

The 18" Racecraft, 19" Heritage, or 20" S-line wheels would all fit the image of this White Label.

i mentioned that while at the dealership and they don't seem interested whatsoever in doing that so far. if they want to sell it bad enough they will, but it has been a bit of a battle so far. I'm young(22 years old) so they're trying to push me around but it hasn't worked to their advantage and won't.

When I was 22, the dealership attempted to do the same thing to me when I bought my SRT8 Charger back in 2008. They saw it my way when I wrote them a check....

Keep at them, they will give in if they really want to sell it. I say try getting rid of the wheels.

Being in the car business i always get a kick outta negotiatons and when im dead even making no money on a deal and someone still walks is probably the most fustrating thing..but the ultimate kicker is when they come back the next day or two and i sell it to someone else.the point is if your a few bucks away and you really really like the car dont lose it.that car isnt sitting there for only you to buy.
good luck..hope it works out.

i know i'm not the only one looking, there was a guy when i went in the first day(saturday) trying to trade in his 2010 wrx, but his wife wasn't 100% sold yet so they started showing me the car. as i was leaving today he was pulling in so i won't be surprised if it's gone tomorrow. unfortunately for me i had to leave for work so it was time to walk deal or not, and i won't get a chance to go back until friday. hopefully it's still there, if not then i guess it just wasn't meant to be. for all i know the car could already be gone. im planning on shooting them a call in the morning.

I am sure if it's gone there will be other SMS cars. I still don't mind being the only one around. Good luck

Ive found that the ole "wasnt meant to be" verbiage to be right on.

Seems like when things were right they were indeed....right.

Keep looking.

And there's always the one about the early bird gets the worm. I sold cars for awhile and people always think that they stay on the car lots forever. Some of the best sales were done just before the person who procrastinated, and was undecisive, came back to finally buy the car and I had to give them the good news that they just saved a bundle of money by letting someone else buy the car before they came back...

So if you like a car buy it before someone else does!

The problem with your argument is that you assume the story is over...when it isnt.

How many people then go on to find one the exact color they wanted or a better model or one that is cheaper or has more features....etc etc etc.

I almost bought a Silverado right out of college but someone else bought it while I hemmed and hawwed over the price. I went on to find a truck I liked even better for a better price and the icing on the cake was a couple months down the road I saw that truck I almost bought being towed by a wrecker. It looked like it broke down on the side of the road.

Just because you miss an opportunity doesnt equate to no more opportunities.

Keep your chin up and something perfect for you will turn up.

Well I guess I'm biased being In the car biz but the story is over as far as that car goes. N the truck you were gonna buy that was being towed on a wrecker could have easily been the truck you bought. You have no idea what happened
There's not doubt something better ALWAYS comes along. If u didn't buy the car now you'd probably have a better one. Lol

one of my dads best friends is a gm at a dealership around here, so i called him up after that fell thru and he told me about an '11 premium they had just taken in. it's a brembo stang and i got a killer deal on it. so instead of a base gt upgraded by saleen, i got a used 11 with 2800 miles and every available option. i feel pretty good about it, still some rarity in tact.....just not quite a saleen(ive always wanted one) thanks for all the input guys and sorry i'm not an official member of the club :/

Actually I missed out on a lot of deals prior to buying my saleen but came out on top in the end and got a great deal plus 2 free oil changes. Same thing with my bullitt. I actually like beating up a dealer then denies me and I come in with something even nicer and way better but I always come in after with new car with something showing what I paid of course. I havent had the case where it sells before me or soon after.
