Default Q: Replacement Racecraft springs for convertible?

Does anyone have the old foxbody Saleen parts catalog? If so can you tell me the part # for the front springs & rear springs for 87-93 convertible?

I bought some on eBay today, the seller claims their the correct ones, the parts guy at Saleen said they would work....but aren't the correct part #'s (kinda strange he'd say that then...)

What I bought:

Front: Part # 012-040
Rear: Part # 012-115

I don't know the relationship between the seller and Saleen Autosport, but I get the impression that it is a close one. I ordered from them and it seemed so. Someone else could chime in... the seller is a legit, so don't worry about that.

That's not what I asked. I'm not asking if his parts are authentic Saleen, I'm questioning the part #'s. He says their for an 87-93 convertible, Saleen parts dept says their not the 87-93 springs.....so what I'm asking is what does the catalog say.

I may be incorrect here, but didn't Saleen get away from the constant-rate springs starting with the '90 models and go with a variable rate unit? If so, that may explain the difference in the part numbers.

Yes. Correct. The 1989 SSC may have been the first production series with variable rate.

1991 catalog:
1125-90-01KIT - Progressive Rate Spring Kit (For Conv.) 1987-'91 - $312.99

In 2009 only 1987-'89 rear springs were listed as inventoried.

Yes, Dave..."progressive rate" was the term I was looking for. I didn't think "variable" was correct but that was all I could think of at the time. Thanks.

Does anyone know how to contact Saleencars84 other than Ebay? I'm trying to purchase something that he can't sell on ebay and I"m struggling to get an email or physical address. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
