Local stores who carry V10 and 76mm pullies?
Anyone know if Autozone or Advance Auto Parts carry these pullies? If so do you know their part numbers for them? I been trolling their sites but didn't really turn up and clear answers. I know I can buy them elsewhere online but I get a really healthy discount from these stores.
Thank You. |

Try auto recyclers. I paid $5 for one.

I have a v10 water pump pulley, but I don't recommend using one anymore especially if you live in a hot area. 281 motorsports sales a electric water pump with the 5.5 inch pulley (like V10 one).
If you buy Mosaleen Grip Plate system the 3 inch metal idler you pull off to install Mosaleen, you can use it to replace the cheap plastic idler pulley that always goes bad... its below the alt. and to the right of the crank pulley.

Alright. I actually had a brand new Ford 90mm pulley sitting around that I replaced the stock plastic pulley with. Still allowed me to use the factory size belt. Also when I took the plastic pulley off and shook it, sounded like the ball bearings weren't packed very tightly in there.

Use of a V10 water pump pulley (5.5") slows down your water pump, not the greatest solution. Use of a Mosaleen system, along with a electric water pump with a 5.5" idler pulley is a great option, give substantial real HP, and better cooling!

I have been using a V10 water pump pulley for about 3 years... Raced it hard and drove in 100 degree heat and never had a problem

Cool. Curious, do you have an independent water temp gauge mounted?

I have Aeroforce gauges. My water temp is rarely over 200. Usually about 190... No matter what the outside temp is or how I'm driving it. I do have a Fluidyne radiator too... So that helps.
The reason I went with the V10 pulley was for more belt wrap around the supercharger.... Not for some underdrive reasoning. |
