Talking 95-0008 S351 Press Car Update

Guys the last thread on this car was locked due to price discussion. Picked this car up in late 09, disassembled and sent to paint. It broke out of paint prison a few weeks back but couldn't be happier with the outcome. Spent a LONG weekend putting the body and some mechanicals back together. Sorry for the poor shot as it was in the garage but it was raining and wet out. I will post more in a few days. Thanks To Greg W for putting eyes on this car for me and helping in the deal. I owe you to many Greg but that won't keep you from the wall as the PAS open house!

The car was good from far but certainly far from good. I knew this going in. Every Saleen piece was in need of work from cracks, scrapes, burns, etc. The paint fearured orange fenders etc. Car turned out to be rust free but paint wasn't even in question on this one. She went down to bare metal and worked back. Paint is now way nicer than factory but my painter is way anal and you have to like that!

From the way 95-0122 looks (and feels), the reverse fade chevron as seen on 1994-early 1996 Saleens were... two solid silver chevrons with the trailing wearing a black fade decal on top.
