Default Q: What to look for when buying a Saleen Mustang?

Hello all. New to the forum. I'm going to check out a potential foxbody Saleen in the next couple of day. Might be a bit cut up and worked on, but pretty sure its a Saleen. My question to the forum gods is: What should I be looking for and what should I run away from?

My past mustangs include a stock(ish) 86 GT, blown 02 GT, and stock 14 GT. So I have some experience, just not with specialized Mustangs. Any help would be appreciated. Cheers.

Good luck in your search. First off make sure to call Saleen to verify the car is real. Then look for the typical foxbody rust etc. The only real thing to keep in mind is that material to redo seats, in the 87-93 cars is basically impossible to find. The other parts are out there but some are costly.
