Default 1989 Gray Saleen Wheels

I have a set of the original gray 5 spoke rims on my 89 Saleen. I am not sure of the width. They have 225/50/16 Gforce TA KDW tires on them. The tires are brand new with "parking lot" miles on two of them. The other two have zero miles. I have the center caps. Any ideas on what these are worth as I am considering selling them to pay for some suspension mods.

Have the rims had wheel weights mounted on the chrome rings or on the inside of the rims?

I would also be interested if they are still available after Jay has first look at them. Nice to see some other NE fox body Saleen owners starting to post on the site! We should try to put something together for this summer in the New England area and have some fun? Any takers???

JAY, IF YOU WANT YOU CAN COME DOWN SUNDAY MORNING. GIVE ME YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS AND I WILL SEND YOU DIRECTIONS.

dgregoire: YOU CAN HAVE SECOND LOOK IF JAY DOESN'T WANT THEM. I WOULD BE INTERESTED IN GETTING SOME SALEENS TOGETHER THIS COMING SUMMER. THAT IS A GOOD IDEA AS I DON'T SEE TOO MANY FOX BODY SALEENS AROUND.

Thanks for the reply! I would be interested in the set if they remain available. I know of a set of 4 NOS wheels in the boxes that just sold locally for $750 in the past month. Lets try to gather some support for a get together this summer of some Saleen owners! Maybe tie it in with an existing event or put together our own picnic/family type event to have some fun and drum up some interest in these great cars, who's in???

Keep in touch,
Dave...

Dave,

Thanks for the info. I like the sound of a picnic. It would be a great opportunity to get to meet some other Saleen owners. I am in and would like to help in getting the event together. We should start a new thread to help get interest going.

Thom
